Introducing Bryan Chiropractor Dr. Andre Gaulard

Dr. Andre Gaulard"Our family life was frequently disrupted by my mother's headaches" recalls Dr. Gaulard.  "At age 7 I really didn't know very much.  My sister told me my parents had gone to "choir practice".  Now we lived across the road from the Catholic Church we attended and one thing I did know is that the church did not have a choir.  So where were my parents.  Obviously they were at the chiropractor."

Even at a young age Dr. Gaulard was able to see the change in his mother.  At age 12yrs. he decided to be a chiropractor and has never looked back.  "My Dad also took me to the chiropractor and I could definitely see a difference myself.  After some reading and discussion with Dr. Winter, our family chiropractor,  the choice was obvious."

After an academically less than productive year in England Dr. Gaulard moved back to Australia and from Australia to Iowa and graduated with an award in clinical excellence from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, IA.

Dr. Gaulard has been practicing in the Williams County area for nearly 30 years. He uses various types of gentle treatment techniques. Dr. Gaulard has a ProAdjuster instrument which completes a very effective treatment with no discomfort for the patient.

Our practice is dedicated to restoring health and wellness to people who want to be free of drugs and surgery.  Through Chiropractic, Designed Clinical Nutrition and life style changes it is possible to restore your health.

"The whole family, to varying degrees, is on the wellness road" says Dr. Gaulard.  He recalls an amusing event after a seminar.  "The text books from the class were on the kitchen counter and my 16 year old walked in and looked at the text book and says, "Every time there is a new book there is less food in the house.""  That's what we all need to do.  Less Junk food and more nutrient dense foods.

Dr Gaulard is married with three children.  Beth, his wife, also works in the office.  The oldest boy is Noel who is married with one child and living in Georgia. Natasha just graduated from The University of Toledo and is attending the Florida campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Austin is a business student at The University of Toledo.

In the fall of 2005 Dr. Gaulard began to rededicate himself to the study of nutrition. Many chronic illnesses are based in nutritional deficiency. Commercial food production has diluted the amount of nutrients in the food we consume. Processed foods, fake fats and processed sugar is a huge problem for all of us. Dr. Gaulard has extensive information regarding nutrition and your health. He can help you on the level that you desire. Whether you want to do a complete Designed Clinical Nutrition program or supplement your diet and cut out some of the "bad stuff".  "If you do what I ask you to do, to any degree, your health will improve," says Dr. Gaulard.

Dr. Andre Asks some important questions of interest to Bryan residents - Chiropractor Bryan Dr. Andre Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Bryan chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
